In true blogger fashion, I'm feeling the fever, too..
I found some surprises, out in the garden..
We have some unidentified goodies starting to spring up! There are several of them and all I can think is that they may be lilies.
For all my roll-over garden friends, from last season, I present to you the remains of my faerie chair. May it rest in peace. I've been looking for a replacement since the seat fell in, but I never dreamed it would all just ker-plop! An old wooden chair abused by several layers of paint is hard to come by.. I bought that one in a consignment shop. I'd like to "find" one to replace it.
The chives and rosemary (not pictured) are the only herbs in the raised garden table that survived last year's horrible heat, when I was in the hospital and the world forgot to water for me.. *sniffle* The TABLE, on the other hand, is ready to fall down.
This is the right top side. That angle isn't exactly a straight leg, anymore. I'd like to stabilize it and make it through another season.. but I don't know.. the humidity is so harsh!
This oregano seems to be overtaking a tub. I couldn't be more pleased.
And finally.. BRING.ON.SPRING.. We are ready..
These are aching to play in the dirt.
These are crying "pour warm water all over me.."
This is Girlie's new tomato plant. I can't remember the type. I'll update this when I go peek at the tag, again. I know its either grape or cherry size.. because maturity is our hardest problem, with bugs, birds, and ick!
And what warmed THE BOY's heart?? Why it was strawberries, of course!
Before I close, here's a peek of the treasures I captured in Florida, in January:
