Yahoo kills Y!Mash
The news is out.. the bloggers are chirping from the rooftops..
Yahoo announced that they are closing Y!Mash.
I'm sure we are all so sad. I would not agree, with the "facebook competition" that some are claiming.
It was customizable. I decorated and added my purchased graphics.. but it really NEVER worked. Which is really no new news or surprise, to me.
My virtual pet, Marcus, died when the service wouldn't allow anyone's food, but mine, to nourish him. *giggle*
My Yahoo Mash page was home to my "Sneak Your Link" Campaign. That will live on, elsewhere. My "SYL" partner is why I'm on Facebook, too, by the way. Some friends keep you sane.
Rest in Peace, Yahoo Mash. You obviously aren't going to have a dang thing to do with what Y!360 hasn't become, either. So much for Yahoo's claim for Y!360 upgrades in early 2008. I'm just so disappointed at the Y!.
